  1. The only thing I miss from my late 2012 is 4K output for FCPX. 3.4 GHz Quad I7, 32GB Ram 1600 DDR3, 500GB ssd, NVIDIA GTX 680 2GB, Catalina, FCP 10.4.8, can run FCPX, LightRoom, LRTL and half a dozen more programs and even more open windows, value on the market…..500 AUD, ridiculous!

  2. I still have an iMac 27inch Late 2010 and it's perfect for my use! Just Office, light Photoshop and YouTube videos.

  3. Unpopular opinion: i think the older iMacs look better than the newer ones. The 2012 to today iMacs remind me too much of crt screens with their rounded backs

  4. What’s the chances of Apple disbanding updates to these older devices in thinking of purchasing a cheaper older iMac as I cannot justify spending full cost on an Apple product

  5. Hey Luke, I replaced the HDD in my 2015 iMac with a SSD. The iMac has never been this fast even right out of the box.

  6. I brought one in 2013, love it but unfortunately a few years ago lines started to form, I hope the newer models dont have this flaw, does anyone know how to fix it?

  7. Hi Luke, like the page have been witching for a while. I have an early 2009 imac 24” 2.96 ghz if im not mistaken. Maxed it out as best I can SSD and 8gb ram and Sierra is running pretty smooth. Wondering if its worth the effort to upgrade the gpu from the current nvidia gtx 120 (256gb) to something like 765m? Ive seen a few upgrades on the 2011 Imac but the 24” early 2009 just gets no love.

  8. Hey i am so interested to now.. i hawe 2012 that is the same like you showed, just it is slimmer. Interested is it possible for my to Frankenstein iMac ?

  9. mine is still rollin 10 years later never had an issue. Got the 3.4ghz CPU and the Radeon 6970 in here though. Will get the OWC upgrade to both the HD and SD at some point soon, although they have never had any issue at all. She even fell on her screen and shattered the glass once and never missed an electron.

  10. To be honest,i think this kind of iMac is the best design, not only can make this iMac become powerful(the thin iMac is not good enough, like its HDD and 7th cure),but also make it beautiful, imagine that if iMac2017 become more thick, you can put a better graphic card such as GTX2080ti in it,that will make iMac better.

  11. I have a mid 2011 27inch and I play counter strike global offensive on it almost everyday! Plays as well as a PC, but of course with graphics on minimum settings.
